This tool extracts events from text, an event being a verb with associated  noun phrases. Essentially, the tool is meant to extract interesting facts from a given text (who did what, to whom, when, etc). Below is an example of its output:

The counter service         was excellent on          both occasions
The staff                          were served in             a friendly manner
